About Me
I graduated in 2022 from the University of Southern California's Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism.
While in college, I got my start in journalism by working at the Daily Trojan. At the Daily Trojan, I served as a staff writer, arts and entertainment editor, inaugural diversity and inclusion director and managing editor. I also reported for Annenberg Media, where I served as an editor for campus news.
I sharpened my skills through various internships, including a brief stint in broadcast news, at publications such as CNN, USA Today and the Los Angeles Times.
My first full-time writing opportunity out of college was at E! News, where I covered entertainment breaking news, crime, human interest and legal issues. My work there brought me to a yearlong fellowship at the L.A. Times.
So far at the L.A. Times, I have worked across the breaking news, education, metro, city hall, Latino initiatives and entertainment desks. I'm a general assignment reporter, but I have a passion for covering underrepresented communities and chasing big stories.
